Where will my session take place?

• Location depends on the session type. Lifestyle sessions can take place in your home. Outdoor sessions can take place outdoors in the South Suburbs. There may be an additional travel fee for locations greater than 15 miles from Palos Heights, IL. Beach session prices include the travel fee. 

 

When will my session take place?

• Outdoor sessions start about 1-1.5 hrs before sunset. This will change throughout the year, so start time depends on the date of your session. Please try to arrive 15 minutes early for your outdoor session! This allows for children to wake up from the car ride over and get warmed up and ready to go.

• If we are doing a lifestyle session in your home, it will depend on when your house gets the best light- but most likely that will also be late morning/mid-day.

When will I receive my photos?

• All completed galleries will be done within three weeks! You will receive an email with your online gallery. Sneek peaks are usually posted on Instagram within 3 days.

 

What should I wear for photos?

• I always suggest long flowy dresses, linens, textures, and earthy colors. Try to pick a few colors that coordinate rather than matching. And steer clear from logos, writing on shirts, or flashy/neon colors. When you book a session with me, you will receive access to a full styling guide with more do's, don'ts, and general information.  Also, I LOVE to help- I’m available via email or messenger to chat about outfits or help you decide! Also if you have a dress in mind, I can send you color palettes to style the family around your outfit! I also have a growing client closet you can find on my Instagram highlights page!

 

What happens if it rains?

• If the forecast is cloudy- that’s perfectly fine! Cloudy days make for great and flattering lighting on faces. Often times cloudy days turn into amazing sunsets anyway. If there is a high chance of rain, we will reschedule outdoor sessions. Indoor sessions are fine if it’s not sunny!
